Raben Tire operates tire and auto service centers in 6 states. We are a team of highly motivated people dedicated to providing the best tire products, best prices and excellent service to our customers. Our Team is looking for like-minded individuals perform the duties of Mining Tire Service Technician.

The Mining Tire Technician installs and services a variety of commercial tires on mining and construction equipment. These tires and equipment are highly specialized to their industry and utilize the newest technologies including traditional air filled, foam filled, and solid rubber tires. This is an on-road position which will require operation of large service trucks.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service
  • Remove, dismount and mount tires on construction, mining, and support equipment
  • Repair tires as required
  • Operate vehicle, cranes, booms, jacks, air and torque wrenches and other tools and equipment associated with tire service
  • Inspect and communicate tire related needs to company and/or the customer
  • Drive safely to and at customer work-sites by complying with driving practices, speed, traffic regulations and pre-trip vehicle inspection
  • Maintain tools, equipment, materials and inventory assigned
  • Keep accurate and timely records for tire and service tracking and billing
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) according to regulations and policies
  • Work safely and protect company and customer property
  • History of regular attendance according to assigned schedule
  • Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management


  • Valid Driver's license with a safe driving history (Class C Preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years old
  • Legal eligibility for employment in the United States
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background, employment and reference checks
  • Must pass pre-employment drug testing
  • TIA Certifications and training are preferred but not required
  • Prior work experience with similar duties as listed here is required
  • Able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly while maneuvering tires, components, and tools
