COMMERCIAL TIRE TECHNICIAN (On-Road)

Raben Tire operates tire and service centers in 6 states. We are a team of highly motivated people dedicated to providing the best tire products, best prices, and excellent service to our customers.

A Commercial Tire Technician is responsible for the dismounting, mounting, and repairing commercial tires in the Raben shop, on customer locations, and on road.   

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follow proper vehicle lifting procedures.
  • Work on a varied commercial equipment including large and medium truck, construction, agriculture, bus, and trailers.
  • Operate maintenance vehicles on public roads abiding all traffic laws.
  • Dismount and remount tire and wheel assemblies on vehicles following Raben's processes and safety guidelines.
  • Dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging critical components.
  • Dismount and remount tires on split rims booth on medium trucks and heavy trucks and equipment.
  • Operate all related equipment and tools in a safe and proper manner.
  • Work both independently and as a team member.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service in all dealings with customers.
  • Maintain driver's license.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working on Commercial Fleet Vehicles
  • Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills
  • Can work independently after training

Physical & Time Demands:

  • Ability to lift and maneuver¬†up to 75lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to bend, twist, lift, and move quickly.
  • Report to work on time for all scheduled shift; Return form meals and breaks on time.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry.
  • Learn and maintain proper lifting techniques.
  • Learn and maintain all general housekeeping practices.
  • Pass Pre-Employment Drug Testing.

Desired Experience:

  • Tire Technician: 1 Year
  • On-road experience
  • Other mechanical experience¬†

Education:

  • Minimum high school or equivalent (Preferred)

License:

  • Driver's License (Required)
